The killer sudoku player is really easy to use: you can enter a single number in each of the grid squares if you are certain it is the correct value for the square. If you're not certain, enter more than one number in the square, and the numbers will automatically resize smaller so that you can consider each of the pencilmarks whilst you are reducing the options.

There are also a few options that enable you to check your solution, show the solution if you want to give up, and also you can show wrong moves as you make them by ticking the box - in this instance any numbers that you enter incorrectly in a square will be italicised so that you can see instantly that you have gone wrong - handy because it saves you making a simple mistake early on but then only realising it a lot later! Some do consider this a mild form of cheating, but anyway the option is there!
